Last night, the display featured many of your uploaded portraits 📸 alongside the cast of Netflix’s hit show, Geek Girl.

It was an unforgettable moment, shining a spotlight on the importance of taking time for mental well-being 🌟. Geek Girl celebrates embracing individuality, even if it means standing out. The story of Harriet Manners—the ultimate geek who discovers that her true strength lies in being herself —aligns beautifully with @takeamoment.uk mission: to encourage everyone to feel at ease in their own skin and take a moment to pause and reflect 💫.

It’s been an honour to work on such a meaningful campaign.

I’ve also launched the Eat, Sleep, Rave Relax campaign to encourage well-being and mental health in the music industry.
I loved speaking at @amsterdamdanceevent about mental health and sharing this new campaign with friends and colleagues and festival goers in Amsterdam.

The reception has been amazing, with so many of you offering kind words, support, and interest in what we’re doing 🙏.

Now, it’s time to start delivering—working with partners and individuals to see how we can make things better for everyone in the music industry.

A great day yesterday celebrating 10 years of @adegreenconference, part of @amsterdamdanceevent . This is my second time speaking here and a privilege to represent talking about mental health and helping Artists and workers in the green sector. @adegreenconference explores how artists can be powerful agents of change. The sessions were designed to inspire delegates with voices from diverse regions and perspectives. Yesterday we listened to talks showcasing how the arts is driving both social and environmental transformation. I loved so many talks especially the one with @8ertie and @claire_oneill_agf talking about the Dragonfly project at @glastofest. So inspiring and seeing how Claire’s work with the @grid_faeries are revolutionising how live events and festivals are powered and delivered. I also loved the Nature as an Artist talk looking at how Music is Reconnecting Us with the Natural World. It really made me think about how the urban space has drowned out the natural world sounds. It is also a joy to be able to be in Amsterdam and be given free transport around the city while at @amsterdamdanceevent - London we have a lot to learn! Thank you @adegreenconference for a wonderful edition. #adegreen

This week has been big.

I have been working on the Mental health initiative @takeamoment.uk and this week we went live in the centre of London at @piccadillylights.

It was great to see the hard work of @rayburmiston live on the big screens of Piccadilly Circus and all the hard work the team had put in and the huge response from the Public. Well done all especially @larajournoleggatt who steers the ship!

On World Mental Health day I also launched @eatsleepraverelax - a new campaign from my company to support the long-term health and well-being of musicians and artists.

Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of working with over 2,000 global artists and DJs at festivals and gigs.
Alongside my work in music, I am also a @bda_dietitians NHS Dietitian and a passionate advocate for mental health.

In the past two years, I have specialised in mental health, disability, neurodiversity, women’s health, and the gut biome, working within hospital settings.
I will be providing personalised nutrition strategies for touring artists and implement evidence-based approaches to prevent burnout, build resilience, and promote holistic living in the Music Industry.

In the middle of all of this I have broken my arm and this week the plaster came off! Phew, still repairing but getting there.
I have also been working with the amazing Designer Ali Bryant of @carbishouse fame to create branding and a special edition for @amsterdamdanceevent event which I go to next week. I love what we have created - merch and products, all to follow!

So now welcoming the change of seasons, celebrating the amazing astral Auroras that have bathed the UK (with a comet tonight ). A time to reflect, enjoy the darker days, cosy down and get ready for Winter. Thank you 2024, you have been good to me so far. #autumn #ade2024 #eatsleepraverelax #takeamoment

Last night in the centre of London @piccadillylights over 400 celebrities joined in the @takeamoment.uk campaign for World Mental Health Day.

Hundreds of famous faces joined the public in a massive mental health moment on the Piccadilly Lights in Piccadilly Circus.

The General Public were able to upload selfies to a virtual exhibition and see themselves alongside household names including Idris Elba, Liam Gallagher, Yungblud, Kylie Minogue, Jill Scott, Alison Hammond, Emma and Matt Willis, Liam Gallagher, Tim Peake, @therealgokwan, @zoetheball and the cast of @geekgirltvseries
 More than 400 household names featured in the interactive exhibition, which also invited the public to join the community by sharing their selfies on socials using the hashtag #takeamoment2024.

Celebrity Photographer, @RayBurmiston took “eyes closed” portraits, which are the heart of Take A Moment, capturing some of the UK’s most recognisable personalities in vulnerable moments of quiet and calm.

Derek Manns, Head of Commercialisation – @Landsec says, “Piccadilly Lights plays an important role in supporting bringing people together at important moments. We are proud to support the ‘Take A Moment 2024’ campaign’s message of hope and positivity, which brings together celebrities and the public to raise awareness for mental health. By sharing Take A Moment’s powerful message across Piccadilly Lights and our retail platforms, we aim to create a powerful, shared moment that encourages everyone to pause, reflect, and connect.”
Ocean Outdoor UK CEO Phil Hall said: “I hope this powerful display encourages Londoners to pause and find a moment as they pass through one of the city’s busiest and most famous locations.”

The evening was so moving with many stopping to take a moment themselves in Piccadilly Circus to watch the 15 minute show. As an added bonus, Ray had also put my portrait in the show - thank you Ray❤️x

Summer time colour & inspiration from the @tatestives retrospective of the work of Brazilian born artist Beatriz Milhazes. The exhibition traces the evolution of her artistic approach over the past four decades.

Milhazes is influenced by multiple sources including Brazilian and European modernism, Catholic iconography, Baroque colonial architecture and heritage of Brazil.

I loved the collaging and painting and the diverse use of colour & fluoros. Literally mouth watering!

In Portuguese, Maresias refers to the salty sea breeze that is part of Milhazes’ everyday life in the coastal city of Rio de Janeiro, where she lives and works. Nature is an enduring and increasingly important theme, and she finds inspiration in the landscapes around her studio, as well as in the forms and structures of the natural world. Headline act @samhairwolfryder bringing all the love ❤️ post the England Match at @henleyfestival last night. Such a kind and warm person. As Sam was driving out of the festival, he lept out of his Artist car at one of the smallest stages to encourage an artist who was busking at the end of the evening- such a kind thing to do and a measure of the heart ❤️ of this wonderful artist and an appreciation of the journey artists go on - we were waiting to go and I captured this moment.
